Ruth is a qualified teacher, having completed a PGCE in Primary Teaching at Durham University following her music degree. After working as a teacher for one year, she moved home to Belfast to establish her own music business. Passionate about cultivating a supportive, creative and inspiring learning environment, Ruth loves helping students of all ages develop their harp playing and musical confidence.

As the founder and director of Sky Harp Ensemble, Ruth regularly organises and directs concerts and events, giving her students valuable performance opportunities and the chance to share their music with others.
